Offices and tech

Workplace wellbeing in offices: see the failure to switch off before it shows

Back-to-back meetings, messages at ten at night and teams across three time zones. BienestarHR measures work-life balance and workload per team, and produces a plan with an owner when something shifts.

The starting point

What happens in offices and tech

Three situations that keep coming back. None of them is fixed by an annual survey.

The annual survey arrives late and long

Sixty questions in March, results in June. By then the team that was struggling has changed manager or company.

Remotely, nobody sees anyone's face

Without a corridor or a coffee, the manager learns about the burnout when the sick leave or the resignation arrives.

Switching off that's promised and not measured

There's a disconnection policy. Nobody knows whether it's kept per team or which manager breaks it unintentionally.

How it fits

How BienestarHR fits

Measure, understand, act and check. These are the pieces that matter most in this sector.

20-second check-in

A short check-in every week, not a questionnaire once a year

Energy, workload and mood in three taps, with a reminder at the time each person chooses. HR sees the team by week; each person sees their own line.

  • Work-life balance and switching off as dimensions
  • Configurable, mutable reminder
  • A personal closing time, not monitored

Surveys and listening

eNPS, climate and workload, always anonymous

Quick two-or-three-question surveys or a full climate survey. Managers and staff are read separately, each group with its own threshold of 5.

  • eNPS per team with a threshold
  • Open questions without names
  • Comparison with the previous period

Action plans

From “the product team is tired” to a plan with a date

The alert explains what dropped and since when. The plan has an owner, an action and a review day. At 30 days the report says whether the reading moved, without promising cause.

  • Plan linked to the alert
  • Team rituals and shared habits
  • 30-day report

Roles

What each role sees

The rule is the same in every sector: each person sees their own data and the team is read as an aggregate.

Person

Sees their own data

Their account is theirs. Nobody else sees it.

  • Their check-in and their weekly line
  • Habits, breaks and a private assistant
  • Recognition and challenges
  • Nobody sees their answer
Manager

Sees their team

Only as an aggregate and from 5 responses.

  • Their team, from 5 responses
  • Alerts, plans and rituals
  • No individual answers
HR

Sees the company

Map, alerts, plans and report. Never a record.

  • Map per department and office
  • eNPS, climate and 30-day report
  • Campaigns and communications
  • Never an individual record

Each person sees their own data. HR sees the team, and only from 5 responses. Never an individual record.

Questions about offices and tech

Does it measure whether people work outside hours?

No. It doesn't connect to email or calendars and doesn't log activity. It asks the person how they're managing to switch off and shows it per team. Each person can set their own closing time for their own reminder.

Does it integrate with our HR system?

Staff can be imported from a spreadsheet and there's a company API. It doesn't replace the payroll, holiday or time-tracking system; it sits alongside it.

What about a team of 4 people?

It doesn't appear on its own; it counts towards the department and the company. If you want to read it, group it with another team under the same site.

Do managers answer in the same pool?

No. In surveys, managers' and staff's answers are read separately, each group with its own threshold of 5. That way a manager's answer isn't mixed up with the team's.
