AI assistant

Two assistants with a wall between them

The person has a private assistant with experts such as “Health at work”. HR has a copilot that reads the map and helps draft plans. Neither sees the other's side. It's the rule, not an option.

The problem

AI in HR is scary for a good reason

If an assistant can read what a person shares and pass it to the company, nobody will share anything. And then it's useless.

Nobody opens up to a chat that reports

Saying you sleep badly because of the night shift only makes sense if that conversation is yours.

HR doesn't need to read conversations

It needs to know where workload is dropping and what to do. That comes from aggregates, not chats.

Generic advice doesn't help

“Exercise and sleep well” is no use to someone doing four nights in a row. You need an expert that understands the context.

How it works

One for the person, another for HR

For the person

Private experts, in their space

The person chooses who to talk to: “Health at work” for sleep, pain or stress; others for work-life balance, habits or difficult conversations with the manager. The conversation is stored in their space and nobody else opens it. They can delete it whenever they like.

  • Several experts with a clear scope
  • Remembers the context the person gives it, not their check-ins
  • If it detects risk, it offers help resources; it doesn't notify the company

For HR

A copilot that reads the map, not people

HR asks in plain language: where has workload dropped, which team needs a plan, what happened after the last action. The copilot answers with the same data as the map: scores per team with 5 or more responses. If the cut is hidden, it says so.

  • Only receives aggregates per team and site
  • No access to answers, comments or chats
  • Cites where each figure comes from

Drafting plans

From the alert to a draft plan

From an alert, the copilot proposes a draft: three small actions, a suggested owner and a review date. HR edits and saves it. What the copilot doesn't do is decide for anyone or write about people.

What an action plan is

Who sees what

Who talks to what

The person

Private assistant

  • Talks to experts about their own situation
  • Deletes the conversation whenever they like
  • Knows HR doesn't read it, because it can't

The manager

Their team's copilot

  • Asks about their team, as aggregates
  • Asks for action ideas for an alert
  • Can't ask about a person: the copilot doesn't have that data

HR

The company's copilot

  • Questions about the map, plans and reports
  • Drafts of plans and internal communications
  • Same threshold of 5 as the rest of the tool

Privacy rule

The wall isn't a promise, it's how it's built

The person's assistant and the HR copilot don't share data. The copilot only receives what's already on the map, aggregated and with a threshold. There's no setting that changes that.

How it applies to the assistant
  • The person's conversations aren't stored anywhere HR has access to.
  • The copilot can't open records, answers, comments or conversations.
  • The copilot receives aggregates with the same minimum of 5 people as the map.
  • What the person tells the assistant doesn't change their team's score.

Frequently asked questions

Can HR read what I write to the assistant?

No. The conversation is in your space and there's no HR view of it. The HR copilot works only with totals per team.

Does the assistant replace a doctor or a psychologist?

No. It gives practical guidance and resources. If it detects something serious, it recommends seeing your doctor or a support service. It doesn't notify the company.

What can the HR copilot do?

Answer questions about the map and the reports, summarise an alert, propose a draft plan and help write an internal communication. Always with aggregates.

Can I ask the copilot to tell me who's doing badly?

You can ask, but it can't answer: it doesn't have that data. It will tell you which team is dropping in which dimension, if it has 5 or more responses.

Are my conversations used to train models?

No. Conversations are used to answer you and are stored in your space until you delete them. More detail on the security and data page.
