No email, no account
The line operator, the shelf stacker and the waitress have no company inbox. Creating accounts by hand doesn't scale.
QR access
The QR code identifies the company. The phone identifies the person with an SMS code. There's no password to remember and no app to install. A poster in the changing room and you're done.
The code expires in a few minutes. It is not a password.
The problem
In many companies, more than half the workforce has no corporate email or computer. If the tool asks for a username and password, that half doesn't exist for it.
The line operator, the shelf stacker and the waitress have no company inbox. Creating accounts by hand doesn't scale.
A password used once a week gets forgotten. And every forgotten password is an email to HR or a drop-out.
Storage, permissions, app store. The more steps, the fewer people reach the check-in.
How it works
The QR code
HR generates the QR code from settings and prints the poster. You can have one per site so the person lands straight in their team. If the poster leaks, it's regenerated and the old one stops working.
The code expires in a few minutes. It is not a password.
The phone
The person scans, enters their number and gets a one-time code. They type it in and they're in. The code expires in minutes and is good for nothing else. Next time, the phone already recognises them.
How are you feeling today?
Inside
On logging in they see the pending check-in, the open survey, their thank-yous and the course in progress. No HR menus: their space is theirs. People who do have corporate email can log in with it too.

Privacy rule
The phone number is used to know that whoever logs in is who they say they are and so each person has their own space. It's used for nothing else.

No feature works alone. They all follow the same privacy rule.
No. A personal phone is fine. It's only used to receive the code and for the person to get into their space. It isn't shared with anyone.
They'd need a mobile number and would come in as a person with no team. HR sees it in the registration list and can remove them. The QR code can also be regenerated at any time.
Each number is one person. If two people use the same phone, they'll need different numbers. That's how we guarantee each answer comes from a different person.
They can. They can also log in with their email. Both routes lead to the same space.
No. It works in the phone's browser. It can be added to the home screen as a shortcut, but it isn't required.
